We're currently polishing our own set of AI policies here at Percolator and know many of our clients are looking for guidance as they try to weigh potential efficiency and mission benefits against environmental and community harms (and also avoid an "I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that," kind of scenario).

Our friends at Climate Advocacy Labs have set up an AI Resource Hub for nonprofit folks trying to figure out how to do the right thing, and they recently conducted a study of AI Usage and Attitudes in the Climate Movement. The study looks at: How are climate advocates contending with the emergence of AI? Who’s using it, and who isn’t? How are climate advocates using it, and how are they navigating the ethical and strategic dilemmas that AI presents?

Interested? You can visit the Climate Advocacy Lab website and download the report, or, if you'd rather listen/watch than read, the authors of the study will be presenting their findings via webinar on Thursday, 9/17/26 and you can register here.
