Meet our New Team Member!

Join us in saying hello to our newest team member, Kai Addae. Kai is joining Percolator as a Consultant, so she’ll be working with clients on our projects and support retainers. We are very excited that she’s part of the team!

Kai is originally from Port Townsend, Washington and now lives in New Haven, Connecticut, expanding our East Coast presence. For the last three years, Kai has worked in various nonprofit admin roles, most recently as a Salesforce Project Administrator for Innovations for Poverty Action where she managed new projects and supported 400 Salesforce users across their international team.

We asked Kai some questions about herself, to get to know her a little better. Keep reading to see what she said.

What’s your favorite band?
One of my all-time favorite bands is Tame Impala, a pop-rock group from Australia.

You’re a Co-Director of a bike Co-op in New Haven. What’s that like?
It’s so fun and rewarding. I love biking and the bike community, and it feels great to be able to build up the community and get people on bikes across the city.

What’s your favorite taco filling?
The best taco I ever had was a grilled onion taco from Los Gorditos in PDX with grilled + fresh onions, lime, and cilantro.

If you could compete in any Olympic sport, which one would you choose?
I recently went ice-skating for the first time, and would love to give figure skating a try– it’s so graceful!

Do you have a mantra when it comes to technology projects?
“Work hard but work well” – I’m always looking for ways to improve processes and systems to help people be as effective as possible. By using technology to automate the repetitive stuff, I can help organizations focus on doing the work they’re best at and magnify their impact.

Welcome, Kai! We’re glad that we get to work with you.
