First Nations Technology Council is a Canadian nonprofit organization that ensures that Indigenous Canadian people have equitable access to the tools and support needed to maximize their opportunities in tech and innovation. Their biggest program is Foundations and Futures in Innovation and Technology (FiT), a comprehensive digital skills learning journey where students walk a path from entry level-certification to advanced training and work experience opportunities in the technology sector. Courses are completely free and Indigenous-led.

Last fall, The Technology Council hired Percolator to implement Salesforce as a tool to manage recruitment, student management, and reporting/impact measurement for FiT. A successful project was one that maximized the opportunity for relationship building and reflected cultural values. Team Percolator really enjoyed working on this, and we are all are excited about future projects with the Technology Council. You can read more about the process and the results in our case study.
